Drake Domingue

Hometown: Lafayette, Louisiana

Instrument: Tuba

Super Power:  Super speed, but only in one leg.

Hailing from the bayous of south Louisiana, Drake Domingue is a tuba player currently located in Las Cruces, NM where he works building custom french horns for Patterson Hornworks.

Finally not as bad at tuba as he used to be, Drake served as Principal Tuba of the Monroe Symphony Orchestra (LA) for two seasons and maintains an active freelance career performing with regional orchestras across New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. As a soloist, he has been a featured at the New Music on the Bayou Festival (LA) and has performed recital programs across the southern states. In order to keep his pockets full and soul happy, Drake keeps a busy schedule playing trombone, sousaphone and electric/upright bass with a variety of pop, funk, and Latin projects.

Outside of music, Drake is an avid photographer/videographer as well as an amateur researcher and historian. He spends his free time hanging out with his girlfriend Janice and their (mostly bad) cat Roux.
